Eyes & Technology - Textile Design
Within this Project I took the concept of 'Eyes' to create a piece that interpreted it however I please. Throughout I had many potential ideas that I could have adapted but within my journey I started to stray towards the eye of an individual and the history that lies behind it.
This lead me to thinking about my own grandma and the experiences she has sent throughout her life, the rise and fall of leaders and the development we have made over time. This is where I decided to take my project, Technology.
In my final piece you can see the change in colours, elements and styles. This represents how technology has developed over time and how the industries have changed, leading for nuts and bolts in a chaotic manner, to the neat and organised layouts of circuit boards.
